Day of Caring PROJECTS

Bringing people together to build a stronger community, United Way of Pierce County’s annual Day of Caring connects volunteers with local nonprofit organizations to complete projects that may not otherwise get done and provides an opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with colleagues and other community members.

If you have already registered to participate in our Day of Caring event September 21, 2012, you may select a project from the list below. The list of projects will be continually updated with new opportunities as they become available. However, once you have selected a project and your selection has been confirmed you may not switch projects.

Team registration is now closed.

AVAILABLE PROJECTS

When selecting a project, please make sure you can fulfill the time needed to complete the project and provide the number of volunteers requested. For example, if you have a team of 7 and the project needs 10 volunteers, you may select this project. However, if you have a team of 7 and the project needs 25, you may need a different project.

Projects will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Please select the project you are interested in by checking the box under Choose this Project. Then enter your team name in the box and hit Submit at the bottom of the list. You will receive a confirmation of your assignment.
