IN KIND EQUIP EDUCATORS
When United Way's Gift in Kind coordinator,
Jan Farning contacted Cheri Loiland of Bates Technical College
about some computer equipment, she couldn't get a team together
fast enough. Cheri sent a group of students, faculty and trucks
to the Gateway Store and came away with everything they needed.
"They gave us terrific stuff we really,
really needed. It was all very practical things we are already
using today. We were thrilled," stated Cheri.
Thanks to material donations, like those
of Gateway, United Way of Pierce County is helping those in
need.
