Members of the Ironworkers union have participated
in Day of Caring for several years. But this year was
different. After a site visit to this year's project
location, Ironworkers coordinator Lee Newgent
realized, it was going to take more than a Day of
Caring.

campaign. This year a group of 20 has taken on that
task.

but it is also keeping them out of school. The culprit
