knowing where to turn, they called the Orting Family Support
Center, a program supported by Success by Six®.
The
Olson family was turned upside down. The parents were so frustrated
they were close to separating. Not knowing where to turn,
they called the Orting Family Support Center, a program supported
by Success by Six®.
Both
parents were working at minimum wage jobs and earning barely
enough to make ends meet. Resources were given through the
Orting Family Support Center that empowered the Olson's to
seek help. They learned about Child Reach where their daughter
went through a screening that qualified her for speech classes
in the school district. They learned about Clean Air for Kids
to help them with their son's asthma. The Olson's also learned
about the Hope Program and received affordable housing and
education on apartment living and budgeting.
Thanks
to the education and direction received from Success By 6®,
the Olson family believes in themselves and is growing together
as a family.
