Partnerships
are critical to the operations of United Way of Pierce County.
It is through our partnerships that we improve the lives of
people in our community. United Way creates a community vision
and teamwork among leading companies, organizations, and individuals
throughout Pierce County, enabling positive solutions to critical
human service issues through more than 60 nonprofit agencies
providing 111 different programs.
Thanks
to the support of our community branding and event partners,
United Way is able to educate and create awareness about the
most pressing human service issues in Pierce County. That
education and awareness helps build and strengthen relationships
with new and long-time partners through the gifts of time,
talent, products and money.
In
addition to the gifts and support it receives, United Way
also works collaboratively with its partners on targeted community
projects. These strategic and focused projects deliver positive
solutions to the most urgent and serious issues facing our
Pierce County community.
