NALC Food Drive a Success

The Letter Carrier Food Drive hosted by the United States Postal Service, was held Saturday, May 13.

The food collected from the food drive was sorted and boxed at Emergency Food Network and sent to area food banks. According to David Ottey of EFN, the food collected at the food drive will last over three weeks at area food banks. Every month in Pierce County, 140,000 people rely on food banks and hot meal sites to get the nutrition they need.
