Partners At
The Heart ... PATH
United Way of Pierce County's Partners at the
Heart (PATH) small business program offers an opportunity
for you as a business owner to connect with your community.
How can my business make a difference?
United Way of Pierce County makes it easy and convenient for
you to help people in our community. Your donation can be
made in any of these areas:
TIME - As a business owner, you know
time is a precious commodity and it has the power to improve
people's lives! We can help you use your time to benefit those
in need in your community. You can search for a volunteer
opportunity of interest to you, your business and your employees
- by organization name, category, location, and/or your time
availability.
TALENT - As a business owner, we know
you master many skills. Join United Way of Pierce County and
share your talents with local nonprofits. United Way will
match your expertise, or that of your company and its employees,
with local nonprofits that have an immediate need but are
unable to hire the expert staff. Local nonprofts often seek
expertise in:
· Computer maintenance, training and
installation
· Marketing and public relations
· Business development planning
· Internet
TRADE - A donation of your business' goods or services
that goes directly to those in need. Computer supplies or
support services, printing services, office furniture, building
materials, professional or support services are just a few
examples of what it takes to keep local nonprofit organizations
running smoothly. Some of the most commonly requested items
are:
· Computers
· Office furniture
· Copiers and/or fax machines
· Printers
TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION - As a business owner, you
know the value of money. Please join us in connecting people
who can help with those in need. If you are interested in
