PATH
Partner of the Month
Merrill Gardens and its residents are always
ready to help. For the past two years, Merrill Gardens has
run an employee giving campaign. In addition, they provide
clothing, including some new clothes as part of the United
Way of Pierce County Gifts in Kind program. They adopted a
family for this year's Season of Caring and felt so passionately
about helping, they insisted on delivering the items themselves.
They also hosted PATH's December coffee break and have been
instrumental in opening doors in the Gig Harbor area.
Michelle Tomlinson, Merrill Gardens coordinator and PATH advisory
committee member, has residents coming to her wanting to know
what opportunity is next and how can they be involved. Their
strong support of all of UWPC's programs and their giving
spirit make Merrill Gardens the PATH Partner of the Month.
