Columbia Bank
Columbia Bank year in and year out has been
a strong partner with United Way of Pierce County. Last year,
with the support of President Melanie Dressel who was also
the United Way of Pierce County Campaign Chair, Columbia Bank
once again showed their tremendous support for our community.
In addition to running a fantastic employee campaign, employees
participated in the Day of Caring, volunteered on United Way
committees, worked on Season of Caring, and also provided
a Loaned Executive to help educate even more people in Pierce
County.
This year’s campaign promises to be even
better. Under the direction of Jo Anne Coy (also a United
Way Board member) and Kurt Grimmer, the United Way committee
has will be visiting all Columbia Bank locations to take the
message to the employees. Columbia Bank has all the ingredients
for a successful campaign, strong leadership support, passionate
coordinators, and employees who step up and contribute. It’s
no surprise that they are a Top 25 company.
