Regence Blue Shield
Regence has been a great partner with United
Way of Pierce County for many years. In addition to running
a campaign filled with fun and education about the community,
Regence employees volunteer their time to help invest the
funds raised in programs that make measurable improvement
in our community. Jan West a long standing United Way volunteer,
not only helps spearhead the campaign efforts within Regence,
but also sits in the United Way Board of Directors and chairs
the committee that oversees the investments of funds into
the community. Although Regence runs a pacesetter campaign
every year, starting planning in June, and completing the
campaign by early September, employees attend our campaign
kick-off and a large team attends our Day of Caring each year.
The employees at Regence have a great heart
for the community, and their company supports their efforts
to improve our community by matching .50 of every dollar the
employee's pledge to the campaign. Each year, Regence employees
strive to do better and help more. We are excited and honored
that Regence is one our Top 25 partners.
