United Parcel Service

United Parcel Service kicked off as a pacesetter campaign in 2004 and once again has risen to the occasion. Partnering with Teamsters 313 and retired Teamster Jerry Ehnat and labor liaison Emma Faidley, this year the focus in the Fife/Tacoma building was on showing UPS employee's how much UW partners with labor unions and what services are available. A personal 'ask' to contribute was made to each of the drivers and they participated in fundraisers such as water bottle and sock sales and United Way's Back to School initiative.

While giving is part of the culture of UPS their employee's continue to step up and give back to our community in many different ways including being active members on our board of directors, doing speaking engagements for UW on their philanthropic mission, volunteering through United Way and their Helping Hands program and through offering volunteer cards to those employee's who are in need.

CONGRATULATIONS TO UPS who was also awarded the 2004 Working Together Award for their collaboration with the Teamsters 313!
