White River High School
Jake earned his first Letter in Community Service
in 2005 after accumulating 234 total hours. He served with
White River Self-Advocacy of Washington, Washington P.A.V.E.,
Pierce County Coalition for Developmental Disabilities, and
Pierce County Parks & Recreation Companionship program.
In the picture at left, Jake testifies at the
Pierce County Coalition for Developmental Disabilities Legislative
Forum held at Tacoma Community College in 2004. Jake attended
and testified on behalf of funding for those with Developmental
Disabilities.
