Willie Stewart Community Service Scholarship:The Willie Stewart Community Service Scholarship program celebrates and recognizes Pierce County high school seniors who have given back to their community through volunteer service. Scholarships in the amount of $750-$2000 are awarded in a competitive process to graduating seniors who are going on to further education and who have spent a minimum of 50 hours in the past year serving their community. Deadline is April 1 st.

Jerry Beckendorf Community Service Scholarship
The Jerry Beckendorf Community Service Scholarship encourages future generations of union activists and volunteers by recognizing outstanding student volunteerism. Please note: you must be a student in Pierce County, Washington and parent(s) must be a member of a labor union to apply.

Jerry Beckendor Community Service Scholarship Application

Washington State Scholarship Foundation:  Is offering scholarships primarily based on need.  $2000 for 4-year college or university or $1000 for community college, vocational-technical or other accredited post-secondary school.  Applications available online at www.WashingtonScholarships.org


Coca Cola Scholarship Foundation:
Over the past decade, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has helped make the hopes of hundreds of outstanding students a reality. High School Seniors may apply for a Coca-Cola Scholarship ranging from $1,000- $20,000.

Discover Scholarship Program:
Up to $300,000 in scholarships are available annually to high school juniors nationwide. Up to 10 scholarships of $30,000 each are available.

Junior League of Tacoma 
The Junior League of Tacoma will award two $1750 Jane Russell Scholarships to young women expected to graduate in June 2008 from a Pierce County high school.

  If you are a high school senior and a member of Twin Star Credit Union you may apply for one of fifteen $1000 college scholarships.
