The
Campaign Committee includes more than 50 volunteers from local
businesses, unions and community organizations who come together
to encourage company campaigns throughout Pierce County. They
develop goals for each year's Community Campaign and make
calls on leaders in local businesses to help make that goal
a reality.
The
Campaign Committee bridges the gap between United Way staff
and decision makers in local businesses. They speak the language
of business and business leaders. They belong to influential
local organizations, and they have a wealth of knowledge about
the business climate in Pierce County.
Committee
members are also uniquely positioned to educate key managers
in organizations that run United Way campaigns, bringing them
vital information about human services in Pierce County.
