Youth Engaged in Service
Are you an 8th or 9th grader interested in becoming more involved in the civic advancement of your school and the larger community? The Youth Engaged in Service (Y.E.S) training program can give you the tools and resources to initiate positive changes that can influence the condition of all members of our community.
Youth Engaged in Service (Y.E.S.) is an innovative civic engagement program that provides students with the skills and confidence necessary to become active citizens able to make a difference in their school and community.
Y.E.S. is designed to encourage greater civic engagement and to cultivate a culture of service among youth. It targets 8th and 9th graders in order to give these students the tools and knowledge to make a positive impact during their high school years.
Y.E.S. training dates take place in the summer months. Through these trainings, students have the opportunity to create their very own community service projects and later complete the projects as a group.
