Celebrate Community: Walk in My Shoes

By challenging the stigmas around poverty you'll discover that it’s never just one thing that causes someone to be poor—it can happen to anyone who is living paycheck to paycheck, loses healthcare coverage, faces death or the desertion of a partner. Hear from keynote speaker Dr. Brenda Combs, a symbol of inspiration and perseverance to all who meet her.

This breakfast event will feature an update on our work in fighting poverty in Pierce County and we will announce the recipients of this year's Neighborhood Grants and LIVE UNITED award winners. Contributions of $25 per guest will go toward our work to removing barriers to self-sufficiency. Event costs are covered by our generous sponsors.
