In Pierce County, 12% of our families live in poverty. Another 22% struggle to provide their family with basic needs. It is our goal to increase the percentage of families with children who are financially stable.
United Way of Pierce County is committed to lift 15,000 families out of poverty and move them to financial stability by 2028. We work to help children and their families overcome the challenges created by poverty so they can succeed, creating a thriving community. When our community thrives, we all win. We can’t do it alone. Poverty is a complex issue that requires all of us working together. We invite you to join us by taking the 'I WILL' Pledge and selecting how you would like to contribute to this important work. Because great things happen when we LIVE UNITED.
Ending the Cycle of Poverty Starts Here! You are the part of this great community. It is easy to get involved with United Way to create opportunities for a better life for everyone in our community!
