Get Help When You Need it Most

If you or a loved one has been impacted by the U.S. Government shutdown, 2-1-1 may be able to help. United Way Worldwide has provided a landing page with a list of resources and information related to common questions, as well as financial relief and support from companies and support for union or credit members that can be accessed here: http://211.org/services/govshutdown.

It’s good to know that in all times of crisis or conflict, South Sound 2-1-1 is a free, confidential resource, there to serve you. Operated by United Way of Pierce County, South Sound 2-1-1 responds to more than 80,000 calls from Pierce, Lewis and Thurston Counties annually.  By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can access a live Specialist Monday through Friday. Learn more about 2-1-1 at UWPC.org/get-help-now or contact a specialist at 211@UWPC.org. You may also get connected by downloading the WIN 2-1-1 APP.
