When Kerry first came to Associated Ministries she was a survivor of domestic violence and a single mother of 5 children. She and her children were sleeping in her vehicle for several months before arriving at our meeting. At the time, Kerry worked full-time while raising her children on her own and managing a full-time school schedule.
Kerry is now working on obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in business management, obtaining her real estate license, and working towards her notary certification. Like many of the clients who walk through our doors, Kerry navigated a system that was overloaded and not built for the number of people that are needing help in our community. Fortunately, Kerry had the strength and perseverance to create and maintain a steady schedule for her children, while putting in the time and effort required to improve her professional and spiritual growth.
