Each of us has the power to make a measurabl​e difference in reducing poverty in our community. This year we are recognizing people, groups and organizations that deserve to be applauded for their efforts in helping to improve conditions for hardworking individuals and families that deserve a hand up. This Award recognizes what it means to LIVE UNITED.

AWARD CRITERIA

Do you know an individual, group or organization who meets the following criteria?
  • Makes an impact in their community to reduce poverty
  • Thinks of others before themselves
  • Willing to reach out a hand to help people struggling with poverty
  • Trying to influence the condition for all, so that more people have the opportunity to succeed
  • Opens their heart, uses their voice or lends their muscle to make a difference
  • Gives 110% to the cause in fighting poverty in our community
  • Creates opportunities for individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet
  • Inspires hope that poverty will be a thing of the past
If you answered yes, consider nominating them for the LIVE UNITED Award. Awards will be announced at our Celebrate Community evening reception on April 17, 2019 at Foss Waterway Seaport.
