In-kind donations are a win-win for companies, nonprofits and the community. United Way collects in-kind donations and works with nonprofits across the county, getting your donations directly to families in need.
Whether you’re an individual, business or group, you can Change the Story for families with Gifts-In-Kind.
Material items in good condition such as;
- Hygiene Items - new
- Toys
- Bedding
- Dishes
- Furniture
- Office equipment
can be given in-kind. All donations will be used to benefit nonprofit organizations that are in need of assistance.

Become a Gifts-In-Kind Recipient
For an annual fee, Pierce County nonprofits can benefit from United Way’s Gifts-in-Kind program. You’ll have access to a wide range of goods to serve your clients.
The fee is bases on an appropriate membership level and budget size:
• Less than $250,000/ year - $50
• $250,001-$750,000/year - $75
• More than $750,001/year - $100
