Brandon Ervin is a Washington State– and Tacoma-grown education leader, executive coach, and principal consultant with more than 15 years of experience advancing systems change across K–12 education, nonprofit organizations, tribal communities, and public institutions. He is a proud graduate of Washington State University, and the founder of Ervin Consulting Group, where he partners with senior leaders and boards to strengthen governance, lead equity-centered strategy, and manage complex initiatives that drive meaningful community impact.

Brandon has served as a school administrator in Pierce County and across the region, focusing on improving student outcomes, expanding postsecondary and workforce pathways, and strengthening partnerships between schools, families, and community-based organizations. He has ten years of service as President and Board Member of the Tacoma Community College Foundation Board, has served as Board Chair of Pierce County MESA, a Board Member of Bates Technical College, and almost two decades of service with Parks Tacoma coaching youth sports.

Brandon lives in Pierce County with his wife, Dr. Tafona Ervin, and their family. He is deeply committed to United Way’s mission and to supporting collective impact efforts that help Pierce County families and communities thrive.
