“I had been living in my car and in and out of hotels and at times sleep on friends couches with my three children for a while. Due to my dad passing away and not being able to able to keep up with the bills it lead to me being homeless with my children. It took some years and I finally was working towards getting back on my feet. I found this amazing place but I just didn’t have enough funds to cover the move in cost! I reach out to United way and the process was very simple and easy to follow and understand. After a screen and some additional paper work they helped me to be able to move into my own place and I’m so emotionally blessed to have had that help from them!”
