Suit Her Up Career Wear Drive

The drive is now closed and we are no longer accepting donations (until next year!).

Thank you to our amazing community for stepping up and showing your generosity.

Date: July 7 – August 30

Do you have professional clothing that you no longer wear – wrong color, career change, just not your style? Help us stock our career wear closet for women who are looking to re-enter the workforce or step up their career, particularly those who are ALICE – Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. They’re the women in our community who are struggling to afford the basics – there’s no room in the budget for a new interview outfit. Let’s help lift them up with a full outfit. A fresh start. A powerful sense of “I belong.”

Donate your new, like-new, or GENTLY used* workwear items such as:
•    Blazers, blouses, sweaters, slacks, skirts
•    Professional dresses
•    Handbags and work totes
•    Shoes, belts, accessories
•    Plus-size and maternity-friendly pieces are especially needed.

You can donate at one of our drop-off locations or host a drive at your church, workplace, or community group. We’ll provide signage and support – you bring the heart and the hustle.

*Tips for Donating Clothing – Questions to Ask About Each Item
•    After washing, does it have any visible stains?
•    Are there tears, holes, fraying or pilling?
•    Does it have visible stretching?
•    Once you select your items, put them all in a bag and wait for a week. Then go through each item again with fresh eyes, and ask, “Would I give this to a friend?”
