Imagination Library Update for Pierce County Families
United Way of Pierce County has been honored to serve as a local program partner of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library since 2023, providing more than 9,000 children from birth to age five free, high-quality books each month. Due to local funding challenges, we will be stepping away from this role in October 2025. As a result, book deliveries will pause beginning with the November 2025 mailing, and new registrations for the Imagination Library are temporarily on hold for our Pierce County region.
Participating families may still access their Parent Account to update information, but changes will not take effect until a new local program partner is in place. Imagination Library of Washington is working diligently to identify new Imagination Library program partners so book deliveries can resume for Pierce County families as quickly as possible.
