Trisha was referred to me by another local agency that assists people with finding work. She needed assistance with getting her TB, flu, and Tdap shots to begin employment as a medical assistant but she did not have the money to cover the costs. We provided her with some resources to help pay for all the shots she needed to start her new job. Upon follow up Trisha told us she was so glad that the resources were there and if it was not for 211, she would not have been to work. She said she is super grateful to be back working in a job she loved, and it was all thanks to the help she received through 211.
