Tuan Ngo

Tuan Ngo was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Like many other refugees, he escaped Vietnam by boat when he was six years old. He was then adopted by an American Family (The Dillons) in Manhattan, Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

Tuan moved to Tacoma, Washington, in 2005. His major charity project included three years of fundraising, design, and construction of the first Vietnamese Buddhist Temple (Chua Phuoc Hue) in Tacoma, Washington.

Tuan continues his charity work with his hometown orphanage in Vietnam. Tuan is a strong voice for children in need, especially the children of Pierce County, whom he holds close to his heart. Tuan is also a former board member of Marybridge Children's Hospital, where he served on an allocation committee. He served his full term of nine years.

Tuan is also a strong voice for the Vietnamese community in Tacoma, Washington. With that, he served on the Vietnamese Community Relations advisory board.

In his free time, Tuan loves traveling to Vietnam to see his family and help at his family's local orphanage.
