Dignity Starts With Feeling Your Best
It’s hard to overstate the confidence boost that comes with feeling clean and put-together. How it feels to walk into a room knowing that no one questions your presence. That’s the gift of a hygiene kit: a simple package of necessities that says “don’t worry – we’ve got you.” For women who are unhoused, seeking shelter, or in transitional living, the basic supplies can be in short supply, and large-format bottles may not be practical.
Get with your friends, your church, or your community group to collect women’s hygiene items to assemble into practical care packages.
Women United is collecting the following hygiene items to use in women-specific hygiene kits to donate to local organizations such as the YWCA, Nativity House, and Pierce County Human Services.
Requested Items:

Shampoo & Conditioner, travel-sized

Menstrual Products: pads, tampons, liners

Body Wash, travel-sized
-
Lotion/Moisturizer, travel-sized
-
Lip balm
-
Hair ties or clips
*All items must be new, unopened, and unexpired.
Items will be collected through March 13.
